Is everyone avoiding to mention some DazStudio features who are quite an improvement over Poser? or people really don't even try DazStudio?
Well I do, and there's quite a few things I wish Poser would have too.
Preview Lights ON/OFF, Turn it off and you have an evenly lit scene from all angles, turn it on and you can see the actual lights working in the scene. No parenting, no messing with the material settings, just a button.
Make the move/scale/roate gizmo work with Body to move the figure around. DS shows the distance moved while dragging which is neat. I find it a lot easier to pose and set up a scene in DS for that alone.
Camera controls, the ability to center a figure in frame, the main camera (default camera) can rotate around the targeted object no matter where it is on the scene, Poser's Posing camera sort of work that way, but Props have no posing camera. And the main camera is usless when building a big scene. DS camera handling is really superior.
*PowerPose, I just love it.
There's probably more but I haven't used it for a while, there are as many (or more) things I hate about DazStudio, so I stay with Poser, but when I do try it once in a while, I inmediatly feel the difference in camera works and posing.
