To be honest many times I've had to fiddle with free and bought items to make them work in DS.As for the number of times I have extra work before sending items from DS into Bryce free or purchased well I just expect it these days.

I think it must be very hard to second guess what some people will want to do with your 'product' when you set out to make new items.Perhaps some feedback to the person offering the freebies would be a good start.
