Quote - True, some of the presets do work out of the box, and some don't really need a color change but simply an adjustement of the "sky mean altitude parameter".
I think that the atmospheres from the Physical collection might work best to start with since they are (as far as I understand it) physically accurate, while the others are probably made to look right with no gamma correction (this is just what I assume).
Quote - BTW, very, very nice rocks, I hope some day you will consider selling some presets :)
Thanks Abraham :-) Have been a experimenting quite a lot with displacement throughout the year and was able to come up with some convincing stuff.
However I dont feel it
s the right moment for such a pack because there are currently some issues related to displacement in Vue 9. Have mentioned one point further above (artifacts when displaced objects are rotated).
The other point is that I can`t make displaced procedural terrains look right in Vue 9 (was much better in Vue 8.5).
This does not mean that you cannot get nice displacements with Vue 9. As long as a Metablob is not rotated after having been "metablobbed" you can get great result with no artifacts. Also in Vue 9 there seems to be an improved population of ecosystem instances.
A good example is Wabes`s moss. I really like it now in Vue 9. In earlier versions I had the problem that it populated the instances in lines, when I tried go apply it on displaced Metablobs. Now it looks as beautiful as I always hoped it would look :-)
