No one said it doesn't work at all...it does work...IF YOU MAKE ADJUSTMENTS to the file or character! 

As a 'Dazzer' I also think its grossly unfair to ppl who have dial-up connections to spend a lot of time downloading something only to find they have to spend even more time  "fixing" a file before they can use it.  People need to know they have a choice...its a simple thing to just say it on the download page so they can see and make that choice.
