Why you do it simple if you can complicate and DAZ is the master in complication.
Exe installers, bat activation and runscripts, a perfect combination with Windows 64 ProgramFiles folders redirection.
DAZ figures now comes with an almost empty cr2 without joint parameters, JCM channels and morphs, deformers and without any morph channel. You have to initialize the empty cr2, so it will have the required channels that without them all the runscripts don`t work.
You only need to do it once, once you have the base figure, save it somewhere, you can add or remove morphs.
The other alternative is to mount your cr2 by hand with a text editor, all you need is in the !DAZ folder. Is a lot of work and patience, but you can add or remove any update or expansion without any problem and without Windows error message.
Stupidity also evolves!
