Collada is a semi standard format for exchanging model and animation files between different 3D application, not a separate application. Vue can import Collada files (.dae). How much does it cost? Nothing, if you use the free DAZ Studio which can export animated and still .dae files. Poser 7 and 8 can export .dae without rigging (static). As far as I know Poser Pro can export rigged .dae. However, I have only experience with the DAZ Studio export. That works generally quite well, but still has a few bugs (most notably the 100% reflectivity issue, but that is easily fixed with an "Edit all" or Abrahams python script).
