Yeah... Every auction I tried for the pen stylus would get into the "Buy now" territory or end up sniped. And I'm not pushing my bids past that, so I just went "aaah fudge" and did the "Buy now" thing. Still managed $15 less (and with free S&H) than what retailers on the google search were wanting.

Even the old tablets demand a premium. But Wacom still has the best technology... I'm sure some people will be happy when the patents finally run out and other brands can use the transponder tech and perhaps make a few compatible devices. Some actual competition would help with the prices.
