OK, I asked Oliver (pgmeri01) about this, and here is his response:
"the apartment does not use morphs to animate. I have injected Masterdials as most of the parts move parts into different directions etc. So, they are not morphs but dials.
I have no idea if carrara does interpret Poser master dials, so i am sorry that i cannot give you a reasonable answer, but you shall be able to animate all the parts cause they are bones."
Does anyone know what a Masterdial is? It sounds like a morph-like control for movement of a bone. The funny thing is, they look just like morph sliders in Carrara, they just don't work.
