I remember that some DAZ installers obviously look for something that is not there. So I read you have to manipulate the paths it is looking for.

No matter whether you use 64 bit oder 32 bit create in 'Program Files x86' the folder

DAZ

Then use your notepad and type

[ApplicationPath]
dzAppDefault=DAZ Studio
dzStudioInstallDir=C:Program Files (x86)DAZ 3DDAZStudio

save it as 'dzinstall.ini' in the 'DAZ' folder unter 'Program Files x86'! Then try installing again.

For some reason some DAZ installers look for the install path in the 32bit environment. Hope this is one of them.
