I can't export an OBJ from Poser to manipulate in another application because Poser is incapable? Why does Poser include an export function at all if we're not supposed to do this?

The original question was about using Poser derived meshes in a program for that would be distributed somehow, and in was in that context that I referred to applications. For your own use you can do anything you can dream up.
