I suppose it is possible that Shader Mixer doesn't accurately create a colour based to what you type in in the Microsoft Colour Picker, so that the actual colour in the Value 2 channel of the Subtract brick (Math 2 (7)) would be different to the Value channel of the Add brick at the end (Math 2 (5)). Which strikes me as a bug.

And which is why I'm wondering why the previews of that first node (Image (6)) and the last node (Math 2 (5)) aren't identical.

Not why the outcomes of the Poser node set isn't the same as the outcome of the SM output... I should clarify.
