I agree. It's not acting as advertised. I don't believe that the aforementioned wiser head is completely au fay with the actual inner workings of the actual bricks, and wants to dismiss the variance in colour output to limitations of the preview pane.
Which I don't think is correct at all, and I intend to use Bagginsbill recipe to prove it.

I'm actually finding the SM system fairly workable - despite the fact that documentation is scant - and intend to make it a bit less of a mystery to Daz users (as I do my experiments and publish them) whilst I do so for myself.
I must say: a completely different environment prevails there to here. I haven't really got that many people interested in these experiments: neither the developers themselves nor any of the DS3Adv users.
Pity.
