OK, guys - just went out for a spot of breakfast, and on the way back home I thought, this is really presumptious on my part asking you both to "wait on me."  But here you both are with answers.  I really, really appreciate your help & support.  You're the best!

I will send in a bug report to e-on and will report that both of you are having the same trouble so they know we've checked it out, and it really seems to be a bug.
