I still use yarp's P3dO Explorer http://www.senosoft.com/  Just make sure you also get the Poser python to be able to open everything with a simple double-click.  

P7 did indeed have the longest lag and that's when I switched to P3dO but I'm a creature of habit and still use it now though I do like PP2010's new library options.  Sometimes I use both so I can access two runtimes simultaneously :)
