THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: and thebryster fights on! news on chris..

erosiaart ( ) posted Mon, 22 November 2010 at 6:29 AM · edited Wed, 06 November 2024 at 12:23 AM

I spoke to him now..his speech was a bit slurry..but yup..like he says..he's still thebryster inside! has to take care..rest..can't drive of course.. and some bits of him are numb..but yup.. we'll find him one day back on the chair in mars.

he's managed to read some of the posts we wrote to him..and he says it's wonderful everyone thinks of him. he says to tell everyone 'hi' and that he's still thebryster inside.

he has to take the recovery slow and easy..and take lots of care and medicines.

But oh man..it was so good just talking that little bit with him and his wife!

btw..he did sound full of beans and chirpy.. despite all of this.. and even laughed.

says the hospital care was really really good..

thanks for the update, maybe we should do a collective render - like a forum get well card for him?

de nada everyone. happy to share good news.

richard.. great idea! any idea how we could do it? like each of us create a render and someone stitches it up in photoshop? print or not to print? or put it up as a sticky post?

ThunderStone ( ) posted Mon, 22 November 2010 at 10:57 AM

Rosie, I think that we could do that and send the renders to you to stitch together in PS or whatever graphic manipulation software you have. We all must set a standard size, so it's not too hard for the person doing the stitching work to put it together and put up in here.

BTW That is great news!!!! I'm doing my happy dance. (not really. My neck hurts a lot these days so I'm spending less time in front of both tubes. Taking Tynelol #3 and it's sleepy time!)

I would think each individual image would lose alot being shrunk down to fit other pieces, though I do have an idea.

I can put up a sticky thread where everyone can post their own image along with a get well message.

We can set the image limits to 800x600 allowing the trhead to load quicker.

Sound OK?

ThunderStone

The thread is up, and as far as the challenge goes, I don't have access to handle that. What I'll do is check with Bobby to see what he has access to. I will also check with admin.

It's brilliant news, I'm so glad he's feeling chirpy.

I think the render thread is a great idea.
