Haarspalter you don't know what you're using. JPEG quality = 12? You're using an old buggy version of JPEG compression that expresses quality on a scale of 1 to 12.

I said 100% many times and I posted the 15th result.

Just because you can do the experiment incorrectly proves nothing.

My dog can also fail to produce good results with my Nikon D90, but that only proves he is a poor photographer who doesn't understand the tool.


Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
