Also worth noting that PP2010 will render Auxillary data: Z-depth as well as Position (X, Y and Z) and 'Texture Coordinates'; also separate diffuse, specular and shadow passes through D3D's render script.
The position passes can be used to introduce depth of field and distance haze in post-processing; I haven't figured out what Texture Coordinates are for; and being able to control diffuse, specular and shadows individually in post-processing can be pretty useful.
