The new library manager is not just Poser - it is for all Smith Micro graphic apps that have content libraries. Currently only Anime Studio and Poser are using it, but the goal is to have one library GUI application for all 3D. This reduces costs and accelerates development - no need to debug multiple implementations.
Flex/Flash was chosen because:
It could be integrated easily into all 3D apps.
It is nearly perfectly cross-platform.
Developing in Flex is faster (more features in same amount of time) than any other candidate environment.
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
