The snow I could cope with.

But I took a picture (pardon the quality, I was shivering and it's a mobile phone) of the road as I walked home from work on Wednesday... (Because it's too dangerous to drive!! Damn you, Surrey County Council!)

That shiny stuff isn't wet. It's ice. About half an inch thick, the entire length of the road (about a mile and a half). The other sideroads are just as bad.
