Subject: What keeps you motivated?

Hi,

I am new here at renderosity, but not new to 3d graphics.  As my modling gets more complex, what used to take hours now takes days or even weeks.  From time to time my projects seem to lose interest and drift into a dusty corner of my hard drive with a label, "finish later".   I was wondering what keeps you motivated to finish a project no mater how long it takes.

Might sound funny, but usually when i get down a bout a model i tedture what i have done, that generally motivates me. What i have is when you finish a model and you dont like the results. Like the image didnt translate very well to 3D LOL

I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not.

I am masochist and difficulties motivate me, I have to admit it, altough I might look angered sometimes and pull my hair out.  I love every step of model building and all of them motivate me.

Love... Yes that's right, pure and simple love for what I do. I have a passion during creation and an even greater passion when I use the model within a scene render or I see others use my models within their renders... So it has to be love on my part.

I try to focus on no more than two projects at a time.  Sometimes they merge and become something bigger.  Sometimes I wind up with two jumbo projects if I get caught up in another scene.  I need to stop.

What motivates me is the Military Channel.  I just leave it on while I model/texture make tuts.
