Shader GC (as provided in VSS) gets you darn close though.

Here:

  1. Render GC is off

  2. Using VSS shader instead of Miki3 Basic.

  3. VSS shader tweaks: Shine=.3, Diffuse Reflectivity=.8, SSS=.3.

  4. Using IDL

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
