I'm just assuming (One should never assume --ass out of you and me as the statment goes-- ass - U - Me) But I do it anyway ;-) A lot of object/props that are out there and a few that I have done also have what I'm thinking the terminology is that they have reverse normals. While they look like they have holes or look like they have missing parts... the parts/holes are really there but not seen in OpenGl or other preview modes. But when rendered they show up and render correctly and as expected. This happens when a part of an object has no depth. It has an <---x ,a y---> but no / z dimention. I should stop now, I'm even confusing myself. But I'm sure someone else could explain this better. I do understand what's going on , but right now I can't put it into words. There is a program out here in the free stuff I believe for the PC that fixes this, so you can see the missing segments/areas. But then again I could be totaly wrong and this may be another problem. See assuming again. James
