There is no such thing as "perfect" or "ideal."
Everyone has their own idea of what "pleasing to the eye" means. Basically all it means is that it's pleasing to your own eye, not necessarily someone else's.
So don't try and please others, go with what pleases you, and guaranteed you will please those that have the same vision as yourself, and that is all that matters.
If you start trying to please everyone, you lose your vision and end up with something you didn't set out to do, and something that you don't necessarily like. Someone will want a smaller nose, others don't. Someone else may want smaller or large eyes, while someone will want the opposite. It's your vision, go with what you like.
Create for your eye, no one else's.
