I'm a bit late, but I totally agree here.  Also I see no change in this thing and it's still fast.

I hate it and tend to avoid it 'cause it frustrates me that if I see something nice and it turns too early for me to click, I can't "back page" or whatever, I have to wait for the whole cycle.  I can't stand it, we need a control button... badly.  And if you guys make it slower, it'll make it worst yet for people who didn't click it in time.

Frankly I'm quite surprised I'm the only one that agreed with this so far.
