Keep in mind, you mentioned plugins for Poser to conduct a workflow within Poser.  There are more than ample selections of python scripts, both for free & purchase, which can ease your creativity, but they are no substitutes for the numerous software every one have suggested to expand your knowledge.  As Robynsveil states, it depends on your interests and goals.
