Probably because I learned sewing in my early years, and have done free-hand creation of patterns for re-enactment costumes later in life. So this was one of the best things to roll down the pike, IMHO.
My very first dress only took about 3 hours, of which about two was spent just reading the manual, watching the videos, fiddling with the interface to learn which buttons did what, and the optimal way to set things up. The result was almost exactly what I had intended, and there was almost no frustrations involved.
By the time I had completed the dress, I had decided to buy. It was that easy!
