Impressive, but the price tag for the commercial version is way out of line. That would just about pay for Modo, and it's the same as ZBrush, both of which do a lot more.
You have to remember, though. This program was originally developed for real-world clothing designers... people who have entire clothing lines to develop. The Poser-oriented 3d-only uses are, in fact, only a secondary, albeit very welcome, adaptation. For it's original purpose, the price is seen simply as a normal business cost. Yes, it's expensive for us, but they -are- trying to work with their newest user base as best they can. There are continuing discussions over at the MD forums about future pricing, and licensing formats. Stay tuned.
