Subject: Howdy All!

I have been a long time lurker, but have never posted much, if at all.  Sort of shy there.  But as I see myself getting a bit better skill wise, I decided it was time to come out and say hello.  This site has so many talented artists, it's a bit intimidating.

That being said, I would love for people to drop by my gallery and give some thoughts on some of my images.  I can't really compair to most on this site, but it would mean a lot to me to hear from some of the veterans on what they think on my images.

Tomorrow, 12/31/10, I will be posting my first serious attempt at a portrait type image.  I have a unique take (vision) on things, so keep that in mind.

Anyway, I hope everyone is having a great holiday season!

Thanks for reading my ramble.  ;)

Welcome.  I have seen some of your art and I am very impressed.  Haven't left any comments, tho, but I think I will at your request.  Looking forwards to what you have.

Thank you for the responses.  I hope my art is at least somewhat enjoyable.  ;)

Your art is quite imaginative, in terms of approach, poses and lighting. Strong work. Keep it up - you're better than most!

This from an artistic nobody... doesn't really matter what I say, anyway... hey! it's the new YEAR!!! Like, SOON!

FWIW, they are the style of image that very much appeals to me (as you can probably tell if you see some of the stuff in my gallery  )

Thank you all.  And FrankT, I know your stuff well.  I learned how to get better at shadow play by studying yours and Tea_Rex's galleries.  ;)

RobynsVeil, I wouldn't call yourself a nobody.  I personally think you have an imaginitive eye.  I really love the lighting in your pic 'Why?'.

Congrats on stepping out of the shadows Jeremy.  As we all know it's the first step to...well...insanity really. ~lol~

I hear ya there!  Thank you all for stopping by.  I'm not sure how I can help in these forums just yet, as I'm still a little baffled on what 'I' do.  At least in a way I can explain it.  It's one of those things that you just do, and don't think about.  BUT!  I'm sure I could help anyone that asked a direct question.  I think then I could focus on 'how' to help.

That being said, I am going to stop being such a troll and actually 'try' and help when I think I can.

In the mean time, it would help if I was asked questions on things I do well, so I will know what I am good at.  That make any sense?
