Quote - are you importing the 3ds and saving it to the prop library, then delete it from the scene and reload from the library ?  Then position and parent it .

 

Thanks for the reply. I figured it out. When I import the prop I need to check a couple boxes in the import dialog screen and that seems to fix the problem. :)
