Well, it is normal footwear except it was in fact designed with a lower scoop over the the space where the toes and the foot mass meet. It would be considered a 'Retro Design" by many today but it was out there for all the girls of the time to indulge in. It became fetish worthy as time progressed despite not having started out that way. Just a bit of trivia for the worthy and I doubt if these shoes had been designed with a lower scoop that anyone except the most avid foot fetishist ould have noticed. Have a nice walk!  ;)
