If Daz took over Poser we'd have real development? You're kidding right? Daz isn't a large company. It's a small office in Utah. Get real.
One thing everyone needs to remember is that Smith Micro actually has the money to invest in this little niche program we all love and hate...hehe. Daz has an awful tendency to buy a program and let it just sit....or release a new one with a mediocre upgrade. I'm not talking about DS now...I'm talking about programs they bought, like Bryce and Hexagon. Hexagon is for the most part dead and a new version of Bryce took quite a while as I remember. There's nothing at all wrong with the speed at which SM has been releasing Poser or the speed at which they've been adding new features.
