I've made a JCM and head control for extending Antonia's tongue and put the result up on github. I'll try to tweak some of the expression morphs over the next days - I'm taking the rest of the week off - because I think I now agree with lesbentley that her nostrils don't look quite right when she smiles, and the same is true for some of the other morphs. I'll also try to clean up the MouthOpen so that it plays nicer with others, and build in lid-syncing similar to what Les did.
So all in all, I should be able to push out the first beta for version 1.0 by the weekend. If bugs are found, there will be subsequent betas and then eventually a release candidate. If not, the beta will eventually become the official version. I'm now thinking 2/11/2011 for the release date.
I still have some things on my original to-do list for 1.0, but I don't think any of those would introduce serious incompatibilities, and so they can wait until 1.2 (the 1.1.x series will be for development only, as was 0.9.x).
As I said, I will take a long break from Antonia after releasing 1.0 and work on other projects, but I'm sure I will be back. Besides tweaking the base figure, I might even think about retail packages. I am trying to eventually get out of my job and find other sources of income, after all.
