@lesbentley: I think your version looks better for upward bending whereas the current one looks better for downward bending. Maybe something in the middle could make for a decent compromise?

When I last experimented with the settings, I used low-rez Antonia. That was a bit foolish, because if there's one part that simply didn't get enough polys in the low-rez version, it's the tongue. So maybe I'll have another go at it, or just use your settings. What does everyone else think?
