Hi Dannii,

I use Daz Studio 3 Pro, and also make all the products I sell here compatible for DAZ Studio 3 Free and Pro.

When you are going to purchase some products, look in the requirements to see if they are only compatible for Poser, or if they say that they will not work in DS.

Most of the content will "work" in DAZ Studio. The only problem is that any object that uses displacemnet or bump maps, and also many other features, may display different in DAZ Studio when rendered.

Also, Poser products that use Poser's shaders won't work in DS.

That's why I make the DS material presets and put them on the same folder, so when you click them in DS the correct preset is applied. Most vendors don't do this.

In addition, I am now experimenting with DS 3 Pro. I have seen that with the correct render settings and using a plugin included in the Pro version called Uberenvironment (very easy to use, just 2 clicks), the render you get is of better quality than the poser average render.

As a brief:

That's why you sometimes see DS renders that are amazing and others that look like crap.
