There is another issue. Sometimes Poser files come with a separate PMD file. This causes problems for Daz Sudio.

You will have to get the free InjectPMD plugin by DeltaX15 over at Daz Forums. This plugin works for PZ2 files but will not work for PP2 files.

BTW you should try the free version of Daz Studio first to see if it suits your workflow.
