I think most folks who have their own site will no longer be posting their freebies here.  The whole purpose of folks posting site links was to create more traffic to their sites, but with this new system it's impossible.   They are alienating people with this new system.

I was going to host my freestuff there and have a link from Renderosity to that site. This is a major bummer that we can't post links to other sites in the freestuff upload section. I was hoping to make a few extra bucks off my 3D labor, but it seems that Renderosity doesn't want to help me in that endeavor. Why doesn't Renderosity care about the economic welfare of its 3D artists who post freebies?

Consider me one of the alienated. :(
