You might be able to fine tune without using swing if you turn on IK and adjust the thigh parameters. (Or this might end up causing swing. Not sure. :unsure:)
Some swing is necessary in the forearm, one should note, in order to un-bend the joint. The "Attention" pose includes forearm swing. And forearms, like shins, don't bend along that axis in real life. If they do, it's an ouchie. :lol: Or some unusual variety of double-jointedness, maybe. :unsure:
A bit of swing (or use of another anatomically incorrect bending parameter) to adjust a pose is useful, assuming the joint is set up to be able to handle it well. I hope the shin swing can be cleaned up a bit with minimal fuss.
