OK now I see enough to repeat:

Quote - UAC can make folders appear to be in places where they don't really exist

Go look around in

C:UsersAppDataLocalVirtualStoreProgram Filese frontierPoser 7

or similar, where is your actual login name.

Daz installers look like viruses to your operating system. They appear to be attempting to jam stuff into your Poser program. Which they are. The User Access Control (UAC) feature of your operating system is trying to "help" you by confusing the hell out of you and your software.

Any attempt to manipulate these by programs or by you while not running as administrator will result in massive confusion because things from different places virtually combined.

I'd still like to see what Poser claims the ghost folder paths are. You didn't show me that. You simply assumed it's what you think it is.

But I'm betting you find them in the virtual storage location.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
