Never said it wasn't an advertisment, it was of sorts.  See definition 2 and 3.  I said it wasn't spam.  Big difference.   I was letting folks know about a deal.

I have to admit I really respect you for this answer. And your expectation was right :-) but I like pleasant surprises. Next time I have to look into translations for 'Werbung' which is advertisment, there a no German words for Spam or Promotion, instead we use Spam and Promotion but it is also advertisement= Werbung. And I really should not have put you into a group with others because I see you explained yourself. Thank you!
