Quote - I first imported the little alien in Modo content to follow the Modo to Messiah tutorial video from the messiah site. It was so easy that I thought what the heck and I imported the V4 mesh from my runtime geometries and boned her. Er I mean rigged her. LOL. Really liking this. Adding extra bones and things is just like slicing butter with a hot knife. I will buy the walk plugin if we get this deal. If you watch the vid I mentioned you will know why.
It's a pain not being able to save anything in the demo, but it seems to me that getting poser stuff into messiah couldn't be easier. Once you have adjusted a rig (a copy of the autorig, for instance) to fit a figure like V4, you save it and never need to bother with that task again. It'll obviously take a bit of tweaking to get weighting and falloffs right, but once it's done, it's done.
To pose or animate V4 you load your V4 rig, load her mesh, load whatever clothes meshes you want, apply the same rig to all the meshes and presto, you have a poseable figure with conforming clothes (haven't tried dymanics yet).
I've got V4 with hair prancing about in little boyshort undies and a sportbra as I type, using a BVH mocap.
