Yeah I was a beta tester for the VueScript MDD.

That was a while back! The important thing is: it moves your "point cloud" into Messiah. Basically, that's the mesh. You can do this for one frame or for an animation.  So if your still or animation is "complete" in Poser, you don't have to rig in Messiah, just texture and render.

If you do want to do more than render in Messiah, then here's one plan, which I am into:

For me, Poser is going to become a V4-M4 mesh room. I need lots of characters. I have a healthy relationship with v and m!  So, I'll morph body and face into the person I want them to become, then export .obj or use the MMD program.

Then, you'd rig, texture, animate and render in Messiah, at least that's what I am planning to do.

I have not worked with Messiah's hair yet. NOTE: You  can create your dynamic hair in Poser and export THE GUIDE HAIRS thru MMD and into Messiah. That may or may not become interesting for me.

MDD will also create a material file that the will load onto the .obj so .jpg texture maps can be brought over. Not proceedurals, of course; however there is a powerful system in Messiah, and some people are working on skin in it.
