There was an official reference to the basic file syntax and structure of CR2s PP2s and such in the Poser Reference manual that shipped with Poser 7/Pro. This is also in the PDF versions of that document in the digital version. In additiona, Smith Micro has produced and marketed several books with Mixed author content that covers the file structure of the CR2 and some of the various additional elements in them, and these would be considered official. None of these sources is a complete reference, and none of the ones I have read personally cover all of the various elements and commands that can be scripted into a CR2 (such as ERC, Geometry Switching, Sequential Image Textures, etc...).
