Basic diagnostics- remove the new sticks and go back to original setup to see if problem remains. Can also try just the new sticks as well. If the sticks aren't matched pairs then you can try mix'n'match. Probably know there are some free RAM diagnostic apps about (names elude me).
In my (limited?) experience faulty RAM sticks cause blue screen of death when booting
