Back to the OP's original question. When Poser 8 asked you to locate the OBJ and all you have are OBZ's, you really only need to locate that OBZ in the open dialgue box and Poser 8 will accept the OBZ file. The problem really wasn't so much the file extension of the geometry file, the problem was the CR2 pointing to the wrong location.
