Netherowrks has a script that if you have the body part names in the geometry file it imports across multiple body groups. Works like a champ. Use it all the time after I pick a single frame like frame 25of25 of a cloth sim of hybrid cloth item and export and then bring back in as a morph target for the original conforming cloth.

Morph IMP loads each object into the scene temporarily and transfers its shape to the target figure. If the object represents a single body part it spawns that as a morph. If it represents more than one body part, morphs are spawned throughout the figure and master, full body dials are created. Objects are removed from the scene after their shape is transferred.
If you are going to do this a lot, this is a huge time saver.
