If you've happened across pornographic images that were obviously creates in Poser, well, have a good look at them. Do you see any evidence of artistic zeal in any of them? All those I've happened across (doing a google search with filter turned off) are uniformly crap. No shadows, rank amateur rendering, they look like plastic dolls with grotesque features. How that is supposed to inspire eroticism is beyond me.
But it says a lot about pornography in general, doesn't it? Cheap, crass, quick to make a buck... any one who can afford an cheap digital camera or a vidcam or a copy of Poser at TigerDirect ($30) or even DS (free) can make pornography. So, people are going to use whatever means available to make it. Doesn't implicate the tools, it implicates the ones using the tools.
Back in the day, my grandmother used a 8mm video camera to make home movies (stuck in my memory because you'd come away from a viewing feeling somewhat nauseous). Pornographers of that era were using the same thing (same feeling of nausea, too). Case closed.
