Just a thought material, check what islamic art has been able to do without even a single depiction of a human body, ranging from tiny stuff like calligraphy (the art of handwriting, somewhat different from Twitter messages :sneaky:) to gigantic stuff like architecture.
When I shoot photos I make super sure that there is nobody inside the image: I find that nothing spoils an image as much as a human being.
P.S.: in order to dispel doubts, believing and practising atheist here...
