Quote - The ones I have seen are made conforming in the zeroed pose of the figure , and then have a pose that sets the correct foot position for the FIGURE. (manually edit the pose to remove all but the foot and toe positioning)
That's what I thought, but the problem I'm having is the shoes I modeled are for the Femasu Character - in the zero pose, the toes are spread wide so If I tried to use it in the setup room, the front of the shoe would squish together when the toes are put together and the heel raised.
pakled - cool link! Nice feature I never knew existed. Definitely a good shoe modeling tutorial, but alas, I'm past the modeling phase and ready to conform :) **

I'm not familiar with Femasu, but generaly speaking I think it would be best only to have only one toe actor in the shoe, not a number of individual toes. If the toes are still scrunching in that configuration, it is probably down to a 'joint' channel, you could try progressivly deleting joint channels till you find the one(s) causing the problem.
Check out the "Prepping a mannequin" thread that I bumped up...

It's like reading everything that has happened to me - glad to know I'm not the only one - hehe - thanks for bumping the thread!
And just last night, I discovered a new FemaSu is available over at Poser Addicts!
I'm so glad they revived her :)
Here is a preview of the shoes modeled in Hexagon - but it sounds like it will be possible to rig them modeled like this - I'll let you all know - thanks so much for your help!

Alright, I must be doing something really wrong here and its bugging me like nothing else.I have posed V4.2 and lit her as I would like to but I still cannot conform shoes to her feet.
I load in the INJ for the shoes, install the shoe then as a new model, conform the model to V4.2 and the feet never seem to line up in the shoe. What am I doing wrong?
The picture on my gallery should show you whats the matter. (I cannot post even on here as I have no URL)

I'm not sure what you mean by 'INJ for shoes then install as new model' - are these shoes that are ready to conform? If so you should be able to load the shoes into the scene from the figure library and then conform to figure.
Quote - It would help if I could show the pictures.
Ok I load in V4.2, pose her and then wish to give her some shoes. The shoes I have purchased (ALD 3d Shoe pack 5) and it comes with an INJect file to remodel the feet, but really it doesn't seem to work. I know.......speak with producers!
Maybe try the inj on the shoes
Ever stop to think,
and forget to start again?
Open the injection file in a text editor and you might be able to tell if it is for the character or the shoes. Shoe fits or foot inejctors, typically bend the foot and toes so in the zero pose the character wearing your shoes the shoes are parellel with the ground plane (heel and sole).

Hi all - I can't seem to find a tutorial for making high heel shoes for poser characters - can anyone help? I can model the shoes no problem, but then I don't know how to get the donor cr2 to match the foot pose?
