Why do you want to use a pose file? What benefit do you hope to achieve by doing it with a pose file?
You could have empty place holders for the geometry in the cr2, then use a pose to inject the geometry and channel contents. You would still need all the actors and channels to be present in the cr2. It might save a few resources in cases where the bows geometry does not need to be loaded, but I don't think much is gained by doing that. To inject the geometry, you would need to use separate obj files, and 'objFileGeom' as Cage suggested.
