I tend to do fairly stylized images, but I see Lux as a tool along with Pose2Lux, am I going to abandon the style I generally work in in favour of photo realism? No. But can I see it has having a place in my work flow, yes. Will it reduce the time I spend doing postwork? Can't say that. I like my postwork. Can it allow me the possibility of lighting options that I simply can't accurately produce in Poser? Oh heck yes.
That is why I am for it, not as a means to make photorealistic images, undoubtedly, by the time I finish with anything it won't be anyways. Simply put for me it is a way to add another dimension to what I am already doing.
People will love it or hate it as they choose, but making it a known quantity where otherwise it might not be seen, that is what I would like to have happen. This isn't about preaching but like raytraced shadows or IDL or anyone of a hundred other things, it is an option that is available.
Like Daz users who have opted to use Reality, Pose2Lux is a choice. Lux is a choice, I would just like to be able to show people just what it can do especially since the website is in development. A lot of this thread is works in progress and testing images, some final finished comparison type pieces was all I was suggesting.
